HEDRA LEARN
Get the Exact Shot You Want, Every Time, Meet Hedra Skills
Save complex prompt styles once, reference them forever with a single slash command.
Hedra Skills let you save complex, reusable prompt styles and reference them instantly, so you don't have to re-describe the same setup over and over.
Here's how to create your first Skill and use it in a prompt.

What Are Skills?
Skills are typically repeatable workflows, but you can also use them to save complex prompt descriptions that you want to reuse. Instead of writing out a detailed shot, angle, and lighting setup every time, you describe it once as a Skill and reference it with a simple /skill-name in any future prompt.

How to Create Your First Skill
Getting set up takes less than a minute:
1
Navigate to New Space
2
Select Skills below the prompt box, it's the last icon [ / ]
3
Click Create Skill
4
Give it a name and optionally a description
5
Write out your Skill description, this is the detailed prompt style you want to save
Content Library Image
Name your Skill and write the full prompt description you want to reuse

Example: A Cinematic Film Skill
Here's how you'd describe a specific cinematic style as a Skill, in this case, a clean, early 2000s film aesthetic:
Cinematic still. Movie scene. Early 2000s film aesthetic. Directed by David Fincher. Cinematography by Jeff Cronenweth. Cool, desaturated tones with precise studio lighting. Sharp focus on the product, shallow depth of field. Clean, minimal composition. 35mm film grain.
Save this as a Skill named cinematic and it's ready to drop into any prompt instantly.

How to Reference a Skill in Your Prompt
Once your Skill is saved, just add it to any prompt using a /skill-name — no need to re-describe anything. Here's an example combining an Element and a Skill in one prompt:
The @woman doing a robe transition or clothing haul video, enthusiastically showing off a cozy bathrobe. /cinematic
The /cinematic reference tells the agent to apply your full saved Skill — director, cinematographer, lighting, grain, and all — without you having to type any of it.

Why Use Skills?
The more specific your prompt, the more consistent your output. But writing detailed prompts every time is tedious and easy to get wrong. Skills let you do the hard work of crafting the perfect description once, then reuse it across every generation with a single slash command.
Combine Skills with Elements and you have a complete system: Elements define what's in the shot, Skills define how it looks.

HEDRA TUTORIAL
How to Create Stunning Branded Ads in Seconds Using Hedra Elements
Create professional, on-brand content without a design team — just your assets and a prompt.
Producing high-quality branded ads without spending hours in Photoshop is now possible with Hedra Elements. It's a feature that lets you store your brand assets, logo, colors, character references, and reference them in any prompt using simple @ mentions.
Here's everything you need to know to get started.

What Are Elements?
Elements are saved reference images like logos, brand colors, characters, and more, that you can use in a prompt. It works by tagging the Element you created using @mention. Initially, Elements were designed to maintain character consistency across generations, but evolved into a simple shortcut to reference your saved assets.
Elements get you consistent output without having to upload images or regenerate them over and over.

How to Create Your First Element
Getting set up takes less than a minute:
1
Go to Library in the top navigation
2
Select Elements from the top bar
3
Click Create Element
4
Give it a name — for example, logo
5
Select the type: Brand Identity (for logos and color palettes), Character (for model references), Environment, Style, or Outfit
6
Upload your image
7
Hit Save
Create Element dialog showing logo and character uploads
The Create Element dialog — save a logo as "Brand Identity" or a model photo as "Character"
Your Element is now ready to use in any prompt with a simple @logo or whatever name you gave it.

How to Use Elements in a Prompt
Once your assets are saved, referencing them is as natural as tagging someone in a message. Just use the @element-name syntax anywhere in your prompt.
Example prompt for a product ad:
A professional product advertisement featuring a @woman wearing a luxurious bathrobe. Clean and modern brand aesthetic. Use the exact tones and hex colors from @color-palette for the background and lighting. Seamlessly integrate the @logo into the ad composition. High-end commercial photography style, studio lighting, crisp details.
In this example, three Elements are being referenced at once: a character model, a color palette, and a logo.

Step-by-Step: Creating a Branded Product Image
Here's a practical walkthrough using a bathrobe as the product:
1
Click New Space
2
Upload your product image using the + icon and select your product photo
3
Type your prompt, referencing your saved Elements with @
4
Click Generate
Prompt input with @ Element references
Type your prompt with @ Element references and attach your product image before hitting Generate
Generated branded product ad result
The final generated image: brand colors, logo, and character reference all composited seamlessly
The agent analyzes your product image alongside your references, then produces a cohesive, on-brand image incorporating your logo and your brand colors reflected in the lighting and background.

Taking It Further: Turn Your Image Into a Video
Once you have a static product image you love, Hedra lets you animate it into a short video with another prompt.
Example video prompt:
The @woman doing a robe transition or clothing haul video, enthusiastically showing off a cozy bathrobe. Casual, upbeat, and authentic aesthetic, shot on a smartphone camera.
Generate Video panel with settings
The Generate Video panel — optionally adjust model, resolution, aspect ratio, and clip length before generating
Click Generate, and the platform handles the rest. You can now use the video for social ads, your website, or any other marketing channel. You can optionally adjust the model, resolution, aspect ratio, and duration before generating.
